This discussion will review the impact that Chromite Sizing has on castings to foundry customers. Mined sources of Chromite vary in unique chemistry based upon the geographical location of the ore. This chemistry influences the shape and sizing of the product that impact the screen distribution. This screen distribution impacts many elements of foundry application. These include the casting surface appearance, binder level requirements and others.

Understanding the influence that resin ratio has on phenolic urethane no-bake in both room temperature and high temperature physical properties. Show how ratios can help the foundry optimize costs, and target certain performance attributes associated with the production of mold/cores. Show the effect resin ratios have on the mechanical properties of core sand.
